Smart TV Remote — Support

Smart TV Remote controls Samsung, LG and Roku TVs from your iPhone over Wi-Fi, and sends photos and videos to Chromecast and Google TV. It is an independent app, not made by or affiliated with these brands.

Write to us

Email us at support@tvremote.brandranks.ai, or tap Settings › Contact Support in the app. Tell us your TV's brand and model, and what you tried.

My TV doesn't show up

  1. Put your iPhone and your TV on the same Wi-Fi network. A guest network or a phone's hotspot often keeps devices apart.
  2. Make sure Smart TV Remote may use your local network: iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network.
  3. Turn the TV on: most TVs leave the network when they're off.
  4. Still nothing? Tap "Add TV by IP address" and type the address shown in your TV's network settings, usually under Settings › Network › Network Status, or Settings › About.

My TV shows up but won't connect

Can it turn my TV on?

It can turn the TV off. Turning it back on usually isn't possible: when a TV is off, it leaves the Wi-Fi network, so no app on your phone can reach it.

I can't send photos or videos
